Covington Temporary Branch

Join us for a celebration of illustration for children with a story and craft featuring the book A Pig Tale by Jerica Guillory and illustrated by Vivian Broussard. Meet the author and illustrator! After Ms. Guillory shares her book children will make a craft led by Ms. Broussard. The program is free but space is limited. Please register. This program is offered in partnership with the St. Tammany Art Association and their spring show titled Illus•trate. Books will be available for purchase and for signing. No food will be served. Children ages 9 and under may not be left unattended at the St. Tammany Parish Library.

"If you think that wings are necessary for one to take flight, then listen to Tallulah, a Siamese giraffe, as she recalls the events of last Sunday. She's got a tail and a tale to tell… a pig tale, that is! Full of a delightful play on words, "A Pig Tale" encourages vocabulary enhancement while entertaining children and adults alike."
