Armchair Travel: African Safari

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Description

Take a virtual tour through an African safari! A reference librarian from the St. Tammany Parish Library will show you magnificent images of animals found on an African safari tour and share library resources that can help you learn more about them. Imagine zebras migrating across emerald grasslands, flocks of flamingoes casting vibrant colors across a shining lake, the robust roar of a lion, or the majestic walk of an elephant across the terrain!

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. The library welcomes people of all abilities to programs. If you think you may need special accommodations, please contact us early for assistance, and we will do our best to provide the requested services.

The virtual tour will be provided through Zoom. Registrants must provide an email address to participate in the event. A link will be provided for registrants the morning of the program. If you do not receive a link on the day of the program, call your nearest branch or email the instructor for assistance.
