Social Media Literacy: Virtual Edition

Come learn how you can safely navigate social media and avoid common scams. We'll briefly discuss the different types of social media websites, how to spot and report a scam, how to detect fake news or misinformed social media news articles, and other ways that you can stay safe on social media platforms.

This class is free and open to the public. Seating space is limited to adults. Registration is required. The library welcomes people of all abilities to programs. If you think you may need special accommodations, please contact us early for assistance, and we will do our best to provide the requested services.

This class will be provided virtually through Zoom. Registrants must provide an email address to participate in the class. A link will be provided for registrants the morning of the program.
