In this class, we'll cover general techniques that you can use on almost any search engine or database. Then we will apply those techniques to two popular search engines: Google and YouTube. After reviewing what search engines are and how they work, we will look at how to use search operators--the symbols you incorporate into your search terms--to produce more accurate results.
This class is free and open to the public. Seating space is limited to adults. The library welcomes people of all abilities to programs. If you think you may need special accommodations, please contact us early for assistance, and we will do our best to provide the requested services.
