Tired of paying high energy bills? The Weatherization Assistance Program can Help. This 100% FREE program can help you lower your energy bill by reducing the loss of manufactured air. Funded by the U.S Department of Energy and Louisiana Housing Corporation; Quad Area Community Action Agency has been weatherizing homes since 1976. The Weatherization Assistance Program’s primary purpose is to reduce energy consumption in single family homes and lower utility bills, relieving the financial burden on low-income families at ZERO COST!! Weatherization improves indoor air quality and provides health and safety measures for the home.

MAKE SURE TO BRING:

-Copy of picture IDs for ALL household members 18 and over

-Copy of social security cards for ALL household members

-Copy of current gas, electric, and propane bills

-Copy of all social security payments/retirement (award letter)

-Proof of income (last 4 consecutive check stub copies for ALL household members 18 and over)

-Only when the household does not have income (zero income form completed for all unemployed household members 18 and over)

-Lessor/owner agreement (proof of home ownership)
