2025 "Color Our World" Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff Party!
Plan for an evening of fun at the library as we kick off this year's Summer Reading Challenge with our very own Art Festival. There will be opportunities to create your own artwork, visit with artisans/partners from the community, and register for the Summer Reading Challenge. There will be art, prizes, and fun for everyone!
Art Activities
- Bubble Art - Play with bubbles and create work of art with bubbles and paint
- Button Making - Design your own button
- Collaborative Weaving - Help us make a collaborative work of art using different materials
- DIY Postcards - Have fun with pastels creating art that you can send someone
- Print a Bag - Use the art of printmaking to create a bag of your very own
- Spirographs - Design a work of art using this retro geometric drawing tool
- Roll a Craft - Let chance help you create a piece of art
- Teens Only Messtival - Teens can enjoy messy art and caricatures by Bleuebelle Design

- Blue Bell Creameries - Design a sundae
- Lake 94.7 - Try your hand at being interviewed on the radio

No Registration Required
Children ages 9 and under may not be left unattended at any branch of the St. Tammany Parish Library.
Parking is available at the library, the Maritime Museum lot, and the gravel lots surrounding the field on Mabel Street. Street parking is NOT allowed on Main Street and could result in tickets or towing.
