This is the 2nd book in the Wagons West Empire series which is a prequel series to Wagons West. I have fallen in love with the Holt family while reading both series and continued to enjoy reading about various members of the family in this book. From Alaska to Hawaii, the Holts definitely manage to get around and to get into some very interesting situations.
