Having read the original novel by Rick Riordan, this book should not have been that different. Though when I got this from the King County Library System, it was not what I expected. You meet Percy Jackson (Though you probably already know him), and Annabeth Chase. Both are half-bloods, children of gods and humans. The Greek gods of ancient mythology are alive, and have had many children, also known as demigods. There are also dark forces stirring. From the depths of the pit Tartarus, dark forces are stirring. The Titan lord Kronos is rising. Percy and Annabeth must stop him, along with the help of Grover and Tyson. This book has stunning images and amazing recreation of the classic fourth installment in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. When Annabeth and Percy find an entrance to the Labyrinth in the middle of their home, Camp Half-Blood, they must find the forces of Kronos and stop them from invading the Labyrinth-or it will be the end of all the demigods.
