"Raina wakes up one night with a terrible upset stomach. Her mom has one, too, so it's probably just a bug. Raina eventually returns to school, where she's dealing with the usual highs and lows: friends, not-friends, and classmates who think the school year is just one long gross-out session. It soon becomes clear that Raina's tummy trouble isn't going away... and it coincides with her worries about food, school, and changing friendships. What's going on?"--Provided by publisher.

Raina Telgemeier's latest graphic novel on her anxiety and the resulting stomachaches and other health issues in middle school is spot on. Kids going through similar mental health issues will relate to the storyline and gorgeous pictures. The book also gives coping strategies for dealing with anxiety. This is an autobiographical book as the author really lived through these struggles.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel, much like her others. Even as an adult I could relate to the main character, as someone with anxiety. I think this is a very important book to have available to young readers as they may identify with many of the feelings that Raina experiences, but may not know others feel the same way or that it has a name. Great read.

Pretty disappointed. I loved Smile and Sisters and I was really excited to read this book too but it wasn't nearly as good. The story was basically about Raina's fear of vomit and how she struggled to get over that fear.

I'm number 1244 in line for holds. Sounds like a great book, considering her other books.

A great book for kids who deal with anxiety to find themselves, but also a window into what the kid at the next desk might be going through.

I wish I had a book like this to read when I was in elementary school. Friend trouble and tummy trouble, what's Raina going to do? Another fantastic graphic novel that's just right for tweens.

The companion book to 'Smile' and 'Sisters' delves into the often complicated topics of feelings, changes, and the fact that there's more than one type of 'healthy'.

if you've already read this book i suggest you should try out boy crazy Stacey too.I know there are a lot of holds on this book, but put a hold on this book at your school library and at this library

I love Telgemeier's humor and charm. The book is very relatable and I'm glad that readers can find books like this to get through, although I still prefer Smile overall.
