High school sweethearts Rosie and Dominic Vega are madly in love. Well, they used to be, anyway. Now Rosie's lucky to get a caveman grunt from the ex-soldier every time she walks in the door. Dom is faithful and a great provider, but the man she fell in love with ten years ago is nowhere to be found. Her friends have three words for Rosie: marriage boot camp. To her surprise, Dom is all in, and the relationship rehab forces her to admit her own role in their cracked foundation. But just as they're getting back on track, Rosie discovers Dom has a secret... and it could demolish everything. -- adapted from back cover

Need a Good Meet Cute: Read a Rom-Com

There's nothing like a romantic comedy, and the genre has had a resurgence the last few years. Not on the screen but on the printed page...often with a fantastic cartoon cover. Whether you are die hard romance reader or you just enjoy a good Tom Hanks movie (in which case you should also consider Waiting for Tom Hanks, which is available through Overdrive/Libby as well as in print through… (more)

I just loved seeing this so-much-in-love couple pull their marriage back together by working on their own issues. Even better, it was still sexy fun. 4 stars.

There's not much more I can add to RosaReads2's review, so check that out. I think I may have liked it a bit better than the first one

I love a good married romance and sadly there aren't many of them in the romance market. For the most part, I enjoyed Bailey's take on this underused trope. Like the heroine, I'm married to a Puerto Rican military veteran, so maybe that's why I could relate to a number of aspects to the story. Maybe, it's simply due to being in a somewhat longer marriage and this author was able to tap into common struggles. More than likely, it was a combination of the two. Put simply, on some level, I was able to relate to this couple and their various struggles. The marital aspects of strife and the decline of communication rang true, as did some of the marriage counseling. Even if, for the sake of humor, it was a little OTT. In addition to the comedy, there were a number of heart-tugging and swoon-worthy moments that moved me. If I overlook the somewhat excessive sex scenes that are common for this author, as well as an annoying term of endearment, I can say that overall I enjoyed the couple's story and the concentration of rebuilding a broken relationship.
