I'm really disappointed because the plot of this book started so cool, but the swearing & foul language ruined this book. It detracted from the story itself to the point the book was not worth reading.

Yes, for a sci-fi fan it is very predictable; however, it is fast paced, the adventures are remarkable because they are actually stress inducing. (I found my heart racing and my breathing rate increased--which is rare when reading a book!). All the nods to what I assume were his favorite sci-fi movies were fun, too. It is a thick book, but it goes very fast--probably because you won't be able to put it down.

Didn't like it as much as other books by Rollins but it was still entertaining

Sort of an updated version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World", minus the dinosaurs.

Wow! This is one of those "can't put down" books! Don't read it at bedtime unless you want to stay up all night to read it, (and then the rest of the night having nightmares!) Very good!

An original and complex book about how we are slaves to nature and not the other way. Great adventure read.
