The Last Holiday Concert is a fun and a child appropriate book. This book is about a boy ticking of his teacher and now directing the chorus.

When Hart Evans, a popular boy who gets what he wants, ticks off his chorus director, Mr. Meinert, his 6th grade class is responsible for planning the last holiday concert. The director has had enough and he is done with being underappreciated. As the class prepares for the concert, Hart makes mistakes and learns some important lessons along the way.

This is a heartfelt story written by Andrew Clements, an amazing author who knows how to create an engaging and nostalgic story. The characters seem so genuine and the plot is simple yet delightful. No matter how old you are, you will enjoy this book thoroughly.

This holiday treat from Andrew Clements carries the same humor and light-hearted spirit of 'Frindle', while also tackling heavy issues that still plague school systems. Everyone gets a happy ending eventually, but not quite in the way you'd expect.

Great book , just like all of Andrew Clements books are .
Easy to read , not full of filler that's unnecessary to the story. Just an enjoyable story about regular kids that accomplish doing a great Christmas concert when given the task . And learning about themselves and teachers/others in the process.

I love the way this author writes. He has a very good imagination, and he always writes about regular kids doing amazing things. This book is about a school where the music teacher is laid off so the kids have to put on a concert by themselves.
