This novel was 'okay', but a disappointment given my previous experiences with this author. It's hard to enjoy a story when you dislike all the characters. The plot is believable and interesting. The main character is annoyingly needy, and lacks any semblance of parenting skills. If it wasn't for the plot, I might not have finished it.

This was the first book by Joseph Finder I've read, and it was a good one. Company Man kept my interest throughout, worked in a few unexpected twists, and made me look forward to reading more of Finder. Cussler has the oceans, Grisham the courtrooms, Flynn the halls of Washington, Deaver the crime labs, and Finder the corporate boardrooms. All worth checking out.
