I thought I would stop liking this series once Agatha Raisin started her detective agency, but her new credentials & resources added more realism to her investigations, and the new agency characters did not overshadow her.
This is the first Agatha Raisin mystery that I've read. Although I'm a big mystery fan, this was only OK in my book. I think I agree with the Publishers Weekly review that said ".. an insistent theme that won't deter Beaton fans but is unlikely to win new readers." I might try another one sometime but I don't know.
