If you (like me) had always suspected that (under that laughable, silver, fright-wig) Andy Warhol was nothing but an utter creep, a total fraud, and a hideous bastard-of-the-highest-order, than Bob Colacello's revealing book, "Holy Terror" (written three years after Warhol's death) will confirm those suspicions even more than you've ever imagined.

Prior to working for Warhol as an editor of "Interview" magazine, Colacello was in great admiration of this curious pop-culture icon. But once his encounters with Warhol became first-hand experiences, he quickly lost respect for him as he learnt what a devious, calculating, cold-hearted, and self-serving S.O.B. Andy really was.

All-in-all - "Holy Terror" was quite a frank and eye-opening look at (not only Andy Warhol's true character) but at the whole insanely hellish scene that took place daily at "The Factory" (Andy's famed headquarters) in NYC.

*Note* - (Colacello's encounters with Andy aside) - I found the real highlights of this book were Bob's recollections of meetings with such notable "celebrities-of-the-day" as - Truman Capote, Jacqueline Onassis and Elizabeth Taylor (this particular anecdote was a real priceless gem), to name but a few.

(*Be sure to watch "Warhol" video-clip*)
