Disagree with the comment about "Creole vs. Cajun" This is not only a wonderful resource on Acadian ancestory, but a cookbook that caters to beginners onto experts. If you like learning history while you cook, then this needs to be checked out by you.

More creole rather than cajun, but still good. Liked it well enough that I bought the book.
