I am really confused about this book... What?
I grabbed it for some quick reading, and was left in a LOT of confusion.
The first story, Blood Roses, was actually kinda a nice read, then they got weirder from there.
None of the stories had proper endings and just left you confused...

I will be honest about this book: I picked it up because it was a small collection of short stories and I thought it would be and easy, quick read.

I was right. And I regret it so much.

Blood Roses is an odd compilation of “stories of transformation” mixed with fantasy… but it just came across as a collection of random drug hazed sex stories. Most stories were so far fetched that I had no clue what I was even reading half the time. I enjoyed some stories, especially that one about the magical tattoos… but in the end, this book was not only a disappointment – it was a regret. I could have lived my entire life without wasting an hour on this book.

KC Rating:2/5

Fans of short stories, “transformations”, and lyrical interpretive poetry will enjoy this slim book with an odd cover.
