The influence of Jack Vance's wildly imaginative and distinctively verbose writing style is enormous. The authors of these short stories have emulated that effectively, although I suppose someone not familiar with Vance's work might wonder how some of these are connected. Those who like it, will like it a lot ...

Much better than Vance's original. Stories like the copsy door, the tarn house, and a few others were well written and very fun to read. The others weren't so good.
