I really enjoyed this book. It kept me captivated which lately most books can not. I liked the way it was written. Highly recommended. Though very sad. Raw emotion.

I absolutely couldn't finish this book. Reading it in the morning made me slow and depressed for the entire day. Its poetic style is interesting, but the grief it demonstrates is far too raw and real. I'm not someone that can step into such tortured shoes and not be scarred. For fear of bursting into tears of agony in the middle of class, I had to put this book down. If you're one of those people who enjoys emotional torture and the most terrible sadness that can be captured into words, you'd enjoy it, but otherwise, not. This book was far too realistic.

beautiful. LIsa Schroeder has done it again. I love that it is written in verse.
