One spring break location obviously isn't enough for Serge, so he must hit them all. Along the way he and his sidekick, Coleman, attract a growing following of the nation's top college students ... and a mysterious gang that leaves a trail of young bodies in its wake. After years of quiet, a legendary Miami kingpin from the anything-goes eighties is suddenly back in the news ... along with one of the state's most psychotic homicidal monsters, every bit as criminally insane as Serge - except without the morals. The mysteries continue to mount: How did Coleman end up with even more disciples than Serge? Can kids successfully climb fences while carrying pizzas? Will Serge survive the carnage, armed with a GPS and a kiddie pool? Pack the cooler, load the car, and head to where the water is warm for a spring vacation you won't soon forget - no matter how much you might try?

Spring break. Florida. Elvis. All of Florida. '73 Dodge Challenger. Tom Petty. Road trips. Lots of people die in strange ways. It's a party. Gilly's Pub 44. It's a mystery. It's an action suspense epic. Why settle for a slow build-up with a twist at the end when you can have a neck-breaking turn at every corner? Get in the car, shut up, and enjoy the ride.

Same touch and go ride with the main team of Serge and Coleman. Other "casts" from other books reappear here. We have the same wild ride as the other books. But the end seems to be different. More coherent? More focus? Has Serge gotten a "normal" conscience? Stay tune for Serge's next "big" adventure.

Not my favorite in the Serge /Coleman series. Hasn't the oomph of earlier works and I felt at times that Serge too was breaking the social contract as he knows and uses it. However, lots of history on the Spring Break Phenomena and the history of all things Floridian (is that a word?). Serge knows it all.
