This book was pretty accurate to the plot, a few details where left out though. The illustrations where good, though it showed them as 14-15 rather than 12.

This book was a great read. Love Percy Jackson and all of Rick riordan's books. It's cool to see what your favorite characters look like.

As the owner of this actual book, it is significantly thinner than what I would have liked. But I guess graphic novels are always shorter than what the actual books are. Some parts with sass and humour were cut, which frustrated me a bit when reading. I get that the publishers or editors may have thought they weren't "important enough" to waste a few pages on, but it still annoys me a bit. The major stuff was mostly all covered though, and it still trumps the movie by a solid landslide.

I liked the illustrations for the most part.

It's a little confusing if you haven't read the books first. There are a couple plot points that got left out with this version...

This was actually a pretty good representation of the book material. Some spots were skimmed over but not too much.

The first book in the award winning series-Percy Jackson and the Olympians, by Rick Riordan-is now a graphic novel. In The Lightning Thief, Percy thinks that he is a troubled boy with ADHD and Dyslexia, but before he knows it, he learns that the Greek myths are real, he is the son of Poseidon, and that Zeus' master bolt has been stolen-and he is being accused!
