A very good episode, destined to become one of the fan favourites.

The Christmas Specials are my favorite. This particular episode is loved by everyone in my family. The children love it as much as the adults. We are a very "sciency" family, so most are Doctor Who fans to begin with, but this episode has become a Christmas tradition along with 'A Christmas Carol' and 'The Time of the Doctor'

matt smith is the best doctor ever!!! i think the people who don't like him are just stuck in expecting the doctor to be rather cold and non-reactive and animated...which bad actors can do very well...if only they could let go of old tradition and really see how amazing the series with matt smith are...david tenent is a close second ;)
i particularly loved this story about a mother and her unstopable love and devotion to her children...really good episode!

I like Matt - heck I'd be hard pressed to pick a Doc I DIDN'T like - each with their own special nuances - but my favorite has and always shall be John Pertwee - elegant, savvy, funny and devoted to earth - and you gotta love Bessie and the Who Mobile ;) . This particular episode was warm and sweet - just right for the cheery season. Snuggle into a cozy wrap and enjoy!

for the kiddies. I thought in dr who time travel you couldnt go back in an individuals timelime to fix screwups. that doesnt apply here though.

I love Dr Who, but this may be my least favorite episode. Generally I don't care for the Christmas specials. Last years The Snowmen was really great though. Still recommend this one to Who fans.

I love all the new Doctors. Nine, Ten, and Eleven were all amazing. I will be sad to see Matt go though.

How anyone could not love Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor is beyond me. The Doctor's friendship with Amy and Rory is totally refreshing and I much prefer it to the constant love interests. I will be so sad when the Pond's finally leave.
