Although I love junk/thrift store shopping and have appreciated the author's work in magazines, this book falls flat. The ideas were mundane and a bit tacky sometimes. Usually I find lots I'd like to imitate but not this time.

I liked this book, but I wouldn't want to own it. It was really nice to sit in my backyard during on a sunny afternoon and leaf through the pages for ideas and inspiration.

That being said, it isn't something that I'd want on my bookshelf.... just a fun look thru and then return to the library.
