So much drama!
Poor Sookie, nothing seems to going right and as usual she is stuck right in the middle!
And all around her birthday..
The series is coming to an end, and the loose ends are starting to weave themselves together.
Great book!

Sookie is not a happy camper in this book which made the story drag quite a bit. Most of the time she is having an internal dialogue so there is less interaction with the other characters that we know & love. The storyline was obvious in it's attempt at starting to tie up all the loose ends (the series is nearing its end). But, having said all that, I still enjoyed the book. It is just that I have enjoyed other books in this series much more.

Definitely not my favorite of the series. The plot was slow and the characters were not themselves. Hopefully the last book will tie up loose ends.

Okay quick read, but yes it is time for the series to end.

Deadlock is boring. Solving it is fun.

Not as good as some ofthe earlier ones. I'm actually kind of glad the series is ending-I think it's time. Will enjoy the last book to (hopefully) resolve Sookie's love-life options!

SO DISAPPOINTED. Is this the same writer?!? This has to be worst of the series. Sookie was 'uncharacteristic' at least for half the book. Eric too. So many things didn't quite fit right. The fae storyline was choppy, the Felipe one was choppy AND incomplete. They/she should have fixed and focused on the Were-storyline. Waste of paper, waste of time.

1 more book to go and the series is over....not sure which way she is taking this. Still an enjoyable series. Glad that TrueBlood is on tv.

I enjoyed the book a lot and can't wait for the next one. I did find Sookie kind of doing a lot of calling the kettle black. If someone else uses her property without asking first it's just rude but she can't find it to feel bad a man ( a human) was killed in her kitchen even though he hadn't been trying to kill her ( as far as we know). She callously steps over his body to retrieve a glass of water. She hangs up on alcaide then calls him back 10 mins later for a favor. I enjoyed the book and the storyline which should wrap up in the next book. I just found Sookie is becoming a bit two- faced. what the heck was up with Eric? Not acting like the eric i enjoy reading about.I liked Bill and Bubba as usual.

seems less and less joy in the last 2 books, feels like the ending of the series can't come fast enough. i probably done with it. the ending of the book didn't trill me, i just don't find sam that much interesting. sad.
