I found this book to be extremely engaging and well written. The idea of comparing and contrasting two contemporary US presidents who served back-to-back in one of the most momentous times of recent US history is brilliant. Fair and balanced in his approach, Miller spares neither man in analysis of their records. This work brought the history of the mid-20th century into much better focus for me. Highly recommended.
