"Intrigued by the criminal mind, Lady Angkatell has invited the brilliant detective Hercule Poirot to her estate, The Hollow, for a weekend house party. Poirot’s arrival at the party is met with an elaborate tableau staged for his amusement. A doctor is in a puddle of blood, his timid wife standing over him with a gun, while the rest of the guests look suitably shocked. But it turns out that this was no charade. What should have been red paint is real blood — and the doctor is all too dead — turning a pleasant country weekend into one of Hercule Poirot’s most baffling cases ever. But it turns out that this was no charade. What should have been red paint is real blood — and the doctor is all too dead — turning a pleasant country weekend into one of Hercule Poirot’s most baffling cases ever." -- from publisher's website.

The print is teeny-tiny. Returning unread. Will try to find another copy with larger print.

extremely interesting... brilliant... although I am a huge Christie fan, every time, I read another book, she just dazzles me... a brilliant read in the holidays...
