Tells the compelling story of the author's life. Through dramatic reenactments and interviews with top Mitchell scholars, Margaret Mitchell emerges as a complex and fascinating woman who had much in common with her iconic creation, Scarlett O'Hara.

Margaret Mitchell's own life would make a page-turner of a novel. Interesting story of a unique individual ahead of her time. Not sure why the cover of this DVD shows her with a cat as I didn't gather from the documentary that cats were that important to this author. Enjoy!

A documentary not a movie!
couldn't tolerate all the frequent interruptions (with close ups), of the many "commenters" regarding this persons life... had to stop watching.

A++ All the way….A must have DVD in all Libraries - worth the long library wait and WORTH the cost of owing!
I would recommend this movie for all to see.
