Definitely had a blunt ending and the was to bipolar it was all over the place i think the first book was much better and more well rounded with the characters and the detail. but that's my opinion.

i like this book, but I wouldn't say it was amazing. I kind of felt it hard to believe the characters. For instance, the pirate captain who was a female seemed over the top with things. I also didn't like the fact that the story was underdeveloped. I found that i didn't really care what happened to Catherine or William in the end. And the ending was really blunt and abrupt. The first book was a little better, but not by much!
