Sneaking into a truck bed and riding in a couple of sleeping bags was both unsafe and illegal. Also, why does there have to be such a strong anti-turkey message? Turkeys are eaten in reminder of the first Thanksgiving. They certainly did not eat spaghetti! I get that there are plenty of vegetarians, and I have plenty of respect for those who do it healthily. However, I should not be guilt tripped for my traditional Thanksgiving dinner. No way would I ever let my child read this. There are plenty of better pro-vegetarian books. A child should learn to have respect for other people's choices. I have no problem with my kid being vegetarian (and would certainly make an alternative meal for a vegetarian child), but they are not allowed to force others into doing so themselves. It is an individual choice.

Other: The kids place themselves into more dangerous situations, and too strong a message towards giving up turkey for Thanksgiving.
