"Mudclaw persuaded me to join with him," Hawkfrost went on. "He promised to leave RiverClan in peace if I and some of my Clanmates helped him drive out Onewhisker." "Tell him what else I promised," Mudclaw snarled from beneath Hawkfrost's paws. "Tell him how you came to me and offered your helf if I made you WindClans deputy... and helped you take over RiverClan later." "What?"

SummaryAdd a Summary
The Clans have arrived at the home that StarClan has meant them to find-but they must find out where to connect with StarClan and where to meet every full moon for Gathering. Meanwhile, a few cats are lurking around, planning trouble for all the Clans.
Having arrived at their new home after escaping the destruction of the old forest, the four Clans seperate once more into seperate territories. However, Tallstar dies almost immediately, and changes his deputy from Mudclaw to Onewhisker at the last moment. Disgruntled, Mudclaw leads a rebellion, attempting to take over WindClan anyway from the newly made Onestar. Crowfeather, falls in love again, this time with Leafpool, which is also against the warrior code. The rebellion ends when a lightning strike downs a tree, crushing Mudclaw, and creating a bridge to an island where the Clans decide to hold their monthly Gatherings.
