Loved it! On a par with Bonfire of the Vanities and better than A Man in Full. But this is more current (2012) and in many ways more relevant. If the do a movie on this I hope the producer does a better job that was done on Bonfire. That was a great book but the movie was weak tea; it completely skipped over some of the best characters and subplots.
Bonfire was NYC, Man was Atlanta and Back to Blood is Miami and Wolfe captures the essence of it very well. Some of his characterizations are over the top and too long but otherwise it is a very enjoyable read.
