UNEARTH A STORY Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff Party - SLIDELL

Everyone is invited to join us at the Slidell Branch Library from 4 PM - 7 PM for the

2026 UNEARTH A STORY Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff Party!

Plan for an evening of fun at the library as we kick off this year's Summer Reading Challenge with DINOSAURS!  There will be opportunities to create artwork, play games, visit with dinosaurs, and register for the Summer Reading Challenge.  There will be dinosaurs, prizes, and fun for everyone!

Children ages 9 and under may not be left unattended at any branch of the St. Tammany Parish Library.

Parking is available at the library, the Maritime Museum lot, and the gravel lots surrounding the field on Mabel Street. Street parking is NOT allowed on Main Street and could result in tickets or towing.
