Harp Concert
Join us on April 11 at the Madisonville Branch for a Harp Concert featuring a visiting harpist, Renee Murphy, as well as the North Shore Celtic Harp Ensemble and several local harp teachers, including Patrice Fisher, and Catherine Anderson.
RENEE MURPHY is an award-winning harpist celebrated for her expressive musicianship and technical mastery. She is the First Prize laureate of the 30th Soka-Nippon International Harp Competition and a 2024 Lyon & Healy Awards recipient. In 2025, she earned fifth prize at the 13th USA International Harp Competition. Renée has performed internationally at the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong, Soka-Nippon International Music Festival, and American Harp Society’s National Conference. She has appeared with the New York Philharmonic and Wicked on Broadway. A Kovner Fellow and John Erskine Prize recipient, Renée is pursuing her Master’s Degree at The Juilliard School.
