Calm in the Chaos: Self-Care for Moms with Anxiety
This workshop is designed for moms experiencing anxiety, stress or mental overload. Participants will learn practical, realistic self-care strategies that fit into busy, everyday life. Participants will learn: how anxiety shows up in motherhood; simple and realistic self-care practices, tools to calm the nervous system in the moment, and ways to reduce guilt around self-care. This will be an interactive discussion and provide practical tools.
Facilitated by Christina Hunter, a licensed professional counselor that specializes in working with women who live with chronic illness and who are high performers/perfectionists. Christina's mission is to offer a safe environment for all mothers to feel supported, heard, and empowered. She believes the best way to thrive as a community is to connect and work together.
